'Hello!' from our Head Teacher.
My name is Mrs Carter and I have the privilege of being the Head Teacher of Fazakerley Primary School. I joined Fazakerley Primary as a supply teacher many, many years ago; in fact you could almost say that I have grown up in Fazakerley!
During my time here, I have seen many changes to the area, education and the building; but one thing that has never changed is the relationship that parents, carers, children and staff work hard to build, develop and maintain. As a school, we know that the challenges of the 'big, wide world' aren't getting any easier. We know what the children of Fazakerley need; and that is CONFIDENCE in their abilities, a BELIEF that they have the skills required to achieve and the RESILIENCE that all of us need to be able to grow from the challenges and hardships that await us, learning from our mistakes.
When I go out onto the yard I am met by grandparents whose children I have taught, parents who were in my class and now their children, who are here to enjoy the 'Fazakerley Experience'. Our school is a very special place and it sits at the centre of a proud community. Some say if you cut me in half I've got Fazakerley Primary School written through me like a stick of rock... they may well be right!
