Our School Day
At Fazakerley Primary School, we are committed to creating a smooth and positive start to each school day. The school day begins at 8:55 a.m., with gates opening at 8:40 a.m. to welcome children into the playground for a "soft start." This gentle transition helps set up a calm, focused day of learning.
Our school day ends at different times, depending on year group:
Reception students finish at 3:20 p.m.,
Key Stage One (Years 1 & 2) at 3:25 p.m.,
and Key Stage Two (Years 3, 4, 5, & 6) at 3:30 p.m.
We believe that regular attendance is essential to every child’s success and development. We encourage all pupils to attend school at least 97% of the year to ensure they make the most of their education and flourish in our supportive learning community. Every day counts!
Our teaching week:
Reception: 32 hours, 5 minutes.
Key Stage one: 32 hours, 30 minutes.
Key Stage Two: 32 hours, 55 minutes.
Extended Services
Breakfast Club
Start your day right with our Breakfast Club, open every school morning from 7:45 am. Pupils enjoy a nutritious breakfast and activities, ensuring a calm and positive start to their day.

After School Club: FazKids
FazKids, our After School Club, is available until 6:00 pm every school day. Children enjoy a wide range of fun activities, giving parents/carers peace of mind and children a safe, enjoyable space to wind down after the school day.
